E-Mail gateways
 We
have developed one of the first E-Mail gateways
for IBM's PROFS (now OfficeVision/VM) system. The gateway is still widely used by a number
of companies to exchange mail between PROFS and other messaging systems such as public
messaging systems provided by telephone companies, Microsoft Mail, Internet, MHS, SITA
teletype, Airline Reservation Systems, faxes, pagers and others. The gateway was described
in a cover-page paper entitled "Private to Public: Interconnecting
heterogeneous E-Mail systems" which appeared in Data Communication Magazine in
December 1985.
We have a comprehensive knowledge of modern
E-Mail systems including Microsoft Exchange Server, Lotus Notes, Novel GroupWise and
Internet protocols such as SMTP, IMAP4, POP3, as well as interconnecting mainframe-based
E-Mail systems such as OV/VM, OV/MVS, TAO and others.
Our company has developed a
specialized Fax Gateway for Microsoft Exchange Server for one of our clients.
